Join me as I journey to the  Council for Siaton's progress...

I am a GRADUATE of:

     Bachelor of Laws

     Bachelor of Science in Jurisprudence

     Bachelor of Agricultural Technology

..at Foundation University, Dumaguete City

I spent my younger years working at...

Integrated National Police from 1976 to 1992

Philippine National Police from 1992 to 1994

...and later moved to

Bureau of Jail Management and Penology from 1994 to 2009

where I had wardenship stints at Siaton and Mabinay towns..later  assigned as Deputy Warden of Dumaguete City District Jail..and retired as Provincial Jail Administrator of Negros Oriental.

... After 33 years of government service, I coudn't get enough so I accepted a challenging job from former late Gov. Tuting Perdices at the Governor’s Office, Negros Oriental in August of 2010.

... It was a brief stay at the Capitol because I coudn't say No to my fellow constituents when I was asked to run and become elected as Barangay Captain in Barangay 3, Siaton, Negros Oriental...the place where I grew up and love most...

... And that was the start of my political career..if elected, I vow to continue the great works of my wife Hon. Alfa Salome Lagos who was twice awarded as a 3rd termer Councilor, having spent 21 years in the Council and have passed numerous ordinances and resolutions with her advocacy for good governance..

For barely 2 years as current Barangay Captain, I have implemented several projects including:

    • concreting of pavement upon entering Barangay 3 to in front of NORSU campus

    • riprap works at Mabini Ext and Progreso Ext.

    • cementing of Progreso Ext. road

    • rehabilitation of drainage canals in front of Siaton Cockpit

    • installation of water tubs and distribution of toilets to indigent families

    • finishing up the 2nd floor of Barangay Hall

    • started and supported Barangay 3 Day Care Program

    • converted old barangay hall to Advanced Learning System (ALS) in coordination with DepEd Negros Oriental

    • acquired vehicle for public use through the efforts of Hon. Henry Teves

    • implemented a ZERO CRIME RATE in Barangay 3 and made it a better and peaceful place to live.

I am your most humble public servant who not only envision's true progress of Siaton by becoming an effective legislator but will also be there to guard LGU from any forms of corrupt practices!

Among the AWARDS I received in my government service:

Jail Warden of the Year – BJMP Chief 2009

Papuri Award – BJMP – Regional Director 2009

Gintong Agad Award – Civil Service Comm. 2001
